Average Jane’s Latest Obsession

Thanks to a link last week on J-Walk Blog, I am now thoroughly addicted to WEBoggle, an online, multi-player version of Boggle.

Every night I find myself sitting on the couch with the iBook on my lap playing game after game after game.  One thing I’ve learned:  Boggle has its own vocabulary.  Every time I look at the words I missed, the list is full of words I’ve never heard of before (and I have a pretty decent vocabulary for most purposes).  Therefore, my scores are pretty consistently awful, yet I cannot stop playing.

I apologize in advance to anyone who clicks the WEBoggle link above and falls victim as I have.

I apologize for that, Jane. I should have provided a warning. Now I’m responsible for at least two wasted lives.

J-Walk – Actually, my lack of skill will probably drive me away sooner or later. I’m too competitive to be able to stand the thought of losing every time.

Yeah, It’s got me too. But I think it will help improve my typing skills.

Thanks for the warning; I will make sure the WeBOGGLE does not capture my mind and suck it dry! user0@pclabstest.com

I am currently addicted to Zuma (at MSN games). It’s amazing how easily I can get hooked on these silly things!

OMG! Thanks for this link — I was “in the closet” before about my Boggle obsession but now I’ve found people just like me. Home sweet home.
