Okay, not really. I’m actually just using up one of my last vacation days before the end of the year, but it did snow yesterday.
Today I’m planning on running all of the errands necessary for Sunday’s anniversary party. I want to have the food prepared, the beer and wine purchased and chilled, and the house tidied up before I go to bed on Saturday. That way we won’t be running around exhausting ourselves on Sunday before our guests arrive.
As long as I have a free day, I’m also going to drop off dry cleaning, mail a bunch of stuff that’s been sitting on my desk for a week, and take care of anything else I can think of that I’ve been putting off. Ahh, freedom!
Apropos of nothing (except that it’s almost Christmas), I love the title of this post from Rockstar Mommy: My Christmas tree is so emo, it probably cut itself down. Unlike her, I haven’t put up a tree yet. I guess I’d better get on that.
Incidentally, today’s the day I finally decided to do something about my outdated blogroll. I’ve published my Bloglines feed list here and in the sidebar. Sorry if that’s a pain for anyone who used to use the old blogroll to navigate, but the new list is far more comprehensive and accurate.
