December 3rd – Wishes

I think it's no accident that wishes are associated with things that float on the wind, like blowing the seeds off a dandelion or an eyelash off your finger. Butterflies are a good symbol for wishes because they also fly on the wind, but not until they've undergone a complete transformation. Of course, their flying time (and lives) are brief, so they're a reminder not to hesitate too long to pursue our truest wishes.
